Key Responsibilities:
- General Accounting:
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
- Process journal entries and ensure proper documentation.
- Record day-to-day financial transactions accurately.
- Accounts Payable & Receivable:
- Monitor supplier invoices, payments, and credit notes.
- Generate customer invoices and follow up on receivables.
- Reconcile vendor and customer accounts monthly.
- Banking & Reconciliations:
- Prepare bank reconciliations for all accounts.
- Record bank transactions and investigate discrepancies.
- Financial Reporting:
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Support management with ad hoc financial reports and analysis.
- VAT & Compliance:
- Prepare and file VAT returns as per UAE Federal Tax Authority (FTA) requirements.
- Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations.
- Audit Support:
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors.
- Prepare audit schedules and provide supporting documentation.
- Payroll:
- Process monthly payroll entries in the accounting system (if applicable).
- Reconcile payroll with bank and ledger.
- Fixed Assets:
- Maintain fixed asset register.
- Record depreciation and asset disposal entries
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From AED3,500.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
