Job Purpose:
To manage daily accounting tasks, ensure accurate financial records, support budgeting and audit processes, and maintain compliance with accounting standards within a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and journals.
- Monitor and reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
- Perform daily, monthly, and yearly financial transactions and reconciliations.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Ensure timely invoicing and follow-up on collections.
- Prepare reports for management including cash flow, sales performance, and profitability.
- Support inventory accounting, stock audits, and cost of goods sold analysis.
- Coordinate with external auditors and assist in audit preparation.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant regulations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 2–4 years of accounting experience.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and other Microsoft Office tools.
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and time management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with inventory management and costing.
- Knowledge of regional taxation laws and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills for inter-departmental tasks.
