Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team at Megazone Technical Services. The ideal candidate will manage day-to-day accounting operations, ensure accuracy of financial records, and support the company’s financial planning and reporting. Experience with Zoho Books is required.
Responsibilities:
- Manage daily accounting transactions and bookkeeping.
- Record and reconcile invoices, payments, receipts, and expenses.
- Prepare financial statements, reports, and budgets.
- Ensure compliance with VAT and other UAE financial regulations.
- Handle accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and payroll entries.
- Monitor cash flow and support management in financial decision-making.
- Maintain accurate records in Zoho Books and generate reports as needed.
- Assist in audits and coordinate with external auditors when required.
- Ensure all financial data is kept secure and confidential.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 2–3 years of accounting experience in the UAE.
- Strong knowledge of Zoho Books (mandatory).
- Familiarity with VAT filings and UAE accounting standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word).
