We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant with 2 to 3 years of experience in the UAE. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with UAE VAT regulations and company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Record and process daily financial transactions including sales, purchases, payments, and receipts.
- Maintain up-to-date ledgers, journals, and other accounting records.
- Prepare monthly bank reconciliations and cash flow reports.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Monitor accounts payable and receivable and follow up on outstanding invoices.
- Prepare and submit VAT returns in compliance with UAE Federal Tax Authority (FTA) regulations.
- Support internal and external audits by providing required documents and clarifications.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis as needed.
- Maintain proper documentation for all financial records in compliance with company policy.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2–3 years of accounting experience in the UAE.
- Proficient in Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho, or other accounting software.
- Strong knowledge of UAE VAT laws and compliance.
- Excellent MS Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Good communication skills in English; Arabic is an advantage.
- Valid UAE driving license is a plus.
