Job Summary:
An Accountant is responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, preparing financial statements, and assisting in budgeting and tax planning. They help businesses track income and expenditures, analyze financial data, and ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain financial records and reports
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations
- Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy
- Process accounts payable and receivable
- Prepare tax returns and ensure timely filing
- Manage budgeting and forecasting
- Monitor financial transactions and reports
- Assist with payroll and invoicing functions
- Reconcile bank statements
- Provide financial analysis and advice to support business decisions
