Cranleigh Abu Dhabi is seeking a motivated and hardworking individual to join our Admissions team as an Admissions Coordinator (UAE National Role). We are looking for someone proactive, adaptable, and eager to contribute to the smooth running of our admissions processes. The ideal candidate will have experience working in an educational setting and be ready to take on responsibilities related to student enrolment, data management, and customer service. You will work closely with experienced professionals across the school, gaining hands-on experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
The Admissions Coordinator provides essential administrative and operational support to the Admissions Department, managing the day-to-day admissions process with accuracy, efficiency, and a focus on delivering a high standard of service to prospective families. This role is key in ensuring a smooth enrolment journey from first enquiry through to student onboarding, while maintaining data integrity and supporting wider admissions goals.
Admissions Operations
- Serve as the first point of contact for prospective families via email, phone, or in-person.
- Support the entire admissions journey, from enquiry to offer and enrolment, ensuring compliance with school policies and ADEK regulations.
- Coordinate and track all student applications, assessment schedules, and documentation through OpenApply and iSAMS.
- Assist with Pre-Prep Taster Sessions and Y3+ assessments, including scheduling, communication, and data capture.
- Liaise with academic staff and the Registrar to coordinate applicant evaluations and final decisions.
- Support the re-enrolment process for current families.
- Ensure timely follow-up with families to secure required documentation and deposits.
Customer Service
- Deliver a welcoming and professional experience for all prospective families.
- Provide campus tours or facilitate virtual calls in the absence of in-person visits.
- Respond to all enquiries in a prompt and courteous manner, maintaining Cranleigh’s reputation for excellence.
Data & Administration
- Maintain accurate records and databases across admissions platforms.
- Manage the Admissions inbox and filing system using Google Suite.
- Produce weekly and monthly reports on admissions trends, funnel status, and projections.
- Coordinate preparation of welcome packs and onboarding material for newly enrolled students.
Collaboration & Compliance
- Work closely with the Head of Admissions and the wider SLT to provide up-to-date enrolment figures and support recruitment strategies.
- Participate in marketing events and open days to promote the school.
- Ensure ongoing compliance with ADEK regulations and internal admissions policies.
- Represent Cranleigh Abu Dhabi in line with its ethos, values, and standards.
Minimum Qualification
- Bachelor's degree required
Minimum Experience
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a customer-focused role, preferably within the education sector.
- Experience in data management and using admissions software such as iSAMS and Salesforce is desirable.
- Fluent in English (both written and oral); Arabic is a plus.
- A positive, solution-focused attitude with strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
- Clean enhanced Disclosure and Barring Services check or police check.
- Experience working in a school environment is considered a bonus.
