Job Description:
We are seeking a passionate and creative Arts Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging visual arts lessons, fostering artistic skills, and encouraging creativity in students across different age groups. The candidate should have a strong foundation in various art techniques and be capable of developing a stimulating and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver effective art lessons.
- Teach a variety of art techniques including drawing, painting, sculpture, digital art, and mixed media.
- Foster a supportive and inspiring environment that promotes creativity and self-expression.
- Encourage critical thinking, constructive feedback, and appreciation of diverse art forms and cultures.
- Organize and oversee student art exhibitions, showcases, and creative projects.
- Integrate technology and interdisciplinary approaches into lessons where appropriate.
- Provide individual support and guidance to help each student develop their artistic potential.
- Collaborate with other teachers and departments to support cross-curricular learning.
- Ensure work safety and maintain materials and supplies inventory.
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree in Art Education or related field.
- Familiarity with digital art tools, software, and interactive technologies.
- Experience in organizing exhibitions or community art projects.
- Knowledge of inclusive and differentiated instruction methods.
