Archirodon has been awarded a major Oil & Gas EPC project in UAE, and is currently building a team of experienced Lead Engineers, who will be based in our UAE office and lead the multidiscipline Engineering of the project.
Project includes the detailed engineering and design, quality assurance and control, procurement/supply, interface management, construction/installation, pre-commissioning, commissioning/start-up of Hydrocarbon & non-Hydrocarbon systems and management including all works required for the job completion. The main objective of this brownfield project is to increase the production handling capacity by adding a new Production Train and associated facilities at an existing Central Degassing Station and a new gas lift compressor train at another existing Central Degassing Station.
Role Summary:
- Coordinate and manage Red Line mark ups drawings and As-Built documentation across all engineering disciplines (pipelines, piping, civil, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, etc.) from site to engineering and drafting teams.
- Review IFC (Issued for Construction) drawings and compare with redline mark-ups and site modifications to produce accurate As-Built drawings.
- Conduct site surveys and verifications to ensure redline updates reflect actual installations and field conditions.
- Ensure compliance with client specifications, project standards, and applicable codes during As-Built preparation.
- Liaise with construction teams, discipline engineers, and document controllers for timely collection and integration of As-Built inputs.
- Supervise drafting resources in finalizing and updating As-Built drawings using AutoCAD, MicroStation, or similar tools.
- Manage interdisciplinary coordination to avoid design clashes or documentation inconsistencies.
- Monitor and report progress of As-Built submission status to project management and engineering leads.
- Prepare As-Built drawing logs, status trackers, and handover documentation for client submission and internal QA/QC.
- Support handover and close-out phase by compiling final As-Built packages in line with project turnover requirements.
- Mark-ups coordination in a day-to-day activity during construction stage till end of project and full responsabiliy for mark-up of drawings from multi discipline EPCM CONTRACTOR's, Construction Engineer's As-built data, sketches etc. (e.g., P&ID and piping layout as built mark-ups from piping isometric mark-ups).
- Preparation and submission to Client a comprehensive action plan (bar chart) for the submission of ‘As-Built’ redlines mark-ups for approval.
- Preparation and submission of a Drawing/Document Control Register with status added and shall be the basis of weekly As-built report of drawings.
- Client standard drawing list in Excel shall be used for the same, including all SubCONTRACTOR drawings, important shop drawings and key vendor drawings along with all contract (IFC/AFC) drawings.
- Prtaecipation of Client Audit to assure the quality of final as-built project deliverables adhering to Project requirements.
What you will need to have:
- Strong understanding of multidisciplinary design (Pipeline, Piping, Civil, Mech, Elec, Inst etc.).
- Expertise in As-Built processes, redline mark-ups, and site verification.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Navisworks, Excel and document control systems (e.g., Aconex).
- Familiar with IFC drawings, client standards (e.g., ADNOC, Aramco), and project workflows.
- Excellent coordination, attention to detail, and communication skills.
