JOB PURPOSE
The Assistant Relationship Manager - Global External Asset Management Coverage, Private Banking is an important pillar within the Front Office of the Private Bank. The position has mainly client servicing and revenue-generating responsibilities.
The Assistant Relationship Manger is an important pillar within the Front Office of the Private Bank despite being the most junior Relationship Manager. The position has mainly Revenue generating responsibilities.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Your role will involve:
- Develop own existing client relationships, guided and coached by Team Leader or Senior Director
- Identify potential prospects and develop them to become clients of the bank.
- Liaise with the Private Banking Investments Team to deliver effective banking solutions tailored to the clients’ requirements
- Regularly conduct quarterly account reviews in liaison with the allocated Investment Advisor (for accounts above a certain balance threshold) and extend Investment Proposals as result of the review. Operational issues – Account opening & maintenance and transactions
REQUIREMENTS
To be successful in this challenging role, you must be able to demonstrate:
Essential
- Bachelor’s degree in finance/ economics/ Banking
- Minimum 1-2 years overall related experience
- Having an existing book of relationships and contacts consisting of high-net-worth individuals
- Experience in the framework and business etiquette in MENA markets
- Basic knowledge of assets & liabilities products as well as capital markets, portfolio management and investment products
- Understanding of Compliance, Due Diligence and Anti-Money Laundering Acts as well as standard banking procedures General understanding of legal structures (Offshore, Trusts)
