Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Authority Coordinator to join our engineering consultancy firm in Dubai. The ideal candidate must have strong knowledge of Dubai municipality regulations, approval processes, and project documentation procedures related to architectural, structural, MEP, and infrastructure submissions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle submission and follow-up of projects with relevant Dubai authorities (Dubai Municipality, DEWA, RTA, Civil Defense, Trakhees, Nakheel, etc.)
- Ensure all drawings and documents comply with local authority regulations and standards
- Coordinate with internal design and engineering teams to prepare accurate and complete submission packages
- Track status and updates of submitted projects and communicate any revisions required
- Maintain and organize submission records and approval logs
- Act as the liaison between the consultancy and authority departments to facilitate smooth project approvals
Requirements:
- 5–8 years of UAE experience in a similar role within an engineering consultancy
- Strong understanding of local authority portals, processes, and regulations
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
- Local candidates preferred
- Proficiency in document control, submission formatting, and project tracking
