- Coordinate with Governmental and Local authorities (Dubai Municipality, DEWA, RTA, Civil Defense, etc.) to obtain all necessary project approvals.
- Prepare and submit required documents, drawings, and reports in compliance with authority regulations and standards.
- Manage and oversee client approvals and project-related submissions to ensure timely processing.
- Review, communicate with, and approve sub-consultants’ submissions for authority approvals.
- Liaise with architects, designers, and project teams to align project designs with authority requirements.
- Stay updated on changes to policies, procedures, and protocols of Governmental and Local authorities.
- Adapt office systems and workflows to ensure continued compliance with updated regulations.
- Compile, organize, and prepare all project-related documents and drawings in the correct format required by authorities for submission.
- Ensure all required approvals are secured at each project stage and prior to handover.
- Supervise a team of designers to ensure compliance with authority codes and standards.
- Monitor and ensure all submissions and approvals are completed within the set deadlines and target timelines.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all authority-related matters, ensuring effective communication and resolution of any issues.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or a related field.
- Experience: 2 years of experience in a similar position.
- Proficiency in Revit is mandatory; experience with AutoCAD, Microsoft Office Suite, and Adobe Creative Suite is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of local authority regulations in Dubai.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
