Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled and reliable Baker to join our culinary team at a high-end desert safari camp. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing fresh breads, pastries, and desserts for our dinner service, with a focus on quality, presentation, and consistency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare a variety of baked goods including breads, pastries, and traditional Arabic sweets
- Ensure all items are fresh, well-presented, and prepared on time for service
- Maintain a clean and organized baking area and adhere to hygiene standards
- Assist with inventory and manage ingredient stock levels
- Work closely with the chef and kitchen team to support overall food service
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a baker in a hotel, restaurant, or catering environment
- Skilled in dough preparation, baking techniques, and pastry work
- Attention to detail and a passion for high-quality food
- Willingness to live and work in a remote desert camp environment
- Basic English required; additional languages are a plus
