Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced BIM Lead - Infrastructure to join our innovative team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a key member of our organisation, you will be responsible for leading and managing Building Information Modelling (BIM) processes for complex infrastructure projects.
- Develop and implement BIM strategies and workflows for large-scale infrastructure projects
- Lead and mentor a team of BIM professionals, ensuring high-quality deliverables and adherence to project timelines
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate BIM processes across all project phases
- Establish and maintain BIM standards, protocols, and best practices
- Oversee the creation and management of 3D models, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project requirements
- Conduct clash detection analyses and coordinate resolution of issues with relevant stakeholders
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and other project stakeholders to ensure effective BIM implementation
- Stay abreast of the latest BIM technologies and industry trends, recommending improvements to current processes
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for BIM-related issues
- Prepare and deliver BIM training programmes for team members and project partners
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in BIM for infrastructure projects
- Advanced proficiency in BIM software, particularly Autodesk Revit and Navisworks
- Proven track record of leading BIM teams on large-scale infrastructure projects
- Strong understanding of infrastructure design and construction processes
- Excellent knowledge of BIM standards, protocols, and best practices
- Proficient in 3D modelling, coordination, and clash detection
- Familiarity with GIS systems and their integration with BIM
- Outstanding project management and organisational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment
- BIM certification (e.g., Autodesk Certified Professional) is highly desirable
- Demonstrated experience in BIM implementation and management for infrastructure projects
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Willingness to adapt to new technologies and industry developments
