Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Outlet Captain to lead the front-of-house team and ensure smooth day-to-day operations of the outlet. The Outlet Captain plays a key supervisory role, assisting management in overseeing staff performance, maintaining service standards, and ensuring guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of waitstaff and service crew
- Ensure high standards of customer service are maintained at all times
- Greet and interact with guests to ensure a positive dining experience
- Assist in handling reservations, seating arrangements, and guest complaints
- Ensure proper table setup, cleanliness, and readiness of the outlet
- Train new staff and monitor ongoing performance and conduct
- Communicate effectively with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the manager for ordering supplies
- Assist in cash handling, billing, and end-of-day reporting when required
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a senior waiter or outlet captain in a restaurant or hotel setting
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to manage and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment
- Good organizational and multitasking skills
- Familiarity with POS systems and billing procedures
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays
- Diploma or certificate in hospitality or a related field is an advantage
