Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and commercially minded Cargo Charter Sales Executive to join our air cargo division. This role involves identifying cargo charter opportunities, managing client relationships, and closing complex freight movements globally. You will work closely with clients, freight forwarders, operators, and logistics partners to deliver bespoke air cargo solutions for urgent, outsized, dangerous goods, humanitarian, and project cargo shipments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively developing new business opportunities through networking, referrals, cold outreach, and digital channels.
- Respond to cargo charter inquiries and provide tailored aircraft solutions based on cargo type, dimensions, and urgency.
- Prepare and present accurate charter quotations, negotiate rates and terms with clients and carriers.
- Manage the full charter process: from quotation to contract, pre-flight planning, and post-flight service.
- Maintain strong relationships with freight forwarders, logistics providers, airlines, and handling agents.
- Coordinate with flight operations teams on permits, load plans, customs documentation, and other logistics.
- Monitor market trends, aircraft availability, and freight rates to ensure competitive positioning.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and market intelligence; prepare regular reports for management on sales performance and forecasts.
- Provide exceptional customer service to all customers throughout the booking process, addressing any concerns or issues that may arise before, during and after flight experience.
- Achieve and exceed personal and team sales targets.
Required Qualifications:
- With esteemedexperience in cargo charter sales, freight forwarding, logistics, or a related aviation field.
- Solid understanding of aircraft types (AN-124, B747F, IL-76, etc.) and their cargo capabilities.
- Familiarity with specialized cargo handling (e.g., DG, temperature-sensitive, humanitarian, live animals, automotive).
- Strong negotiation, communication, and sales skills.
- Ability to manage complex logistics and multiple stakeholders under tight deadlines.
- Willingness to work outside regular hours to meet time-critical demands.
