Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cashier / Junior Accountant to handle daily cash transactions, maintain accurate financial records, and support the finance team in basic accounting tasks. The ideal candidate should possess strong numerical skills, integrity, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Cashier Duties:
- Handle daily cash and credit transactions accurately.
- Issue receipts, refunds, and change to customers as required.
- Maintain and reconcile cash drawers at the beginning and end of day.
- Prepare daily cash reports and deposits.
- Ensure all transactions are recorded properly in the system.
Accounting Support:
- post journal entries and maintaining ledgers.
- Reconcile GLs.
- Maintain records of accounts payable and receivable.
- Support audit and compliance requirements with proper documentation.
Administrative Support:
- Maintain orderly financial filing systems.
- Follow up on collections & DO Invoicing.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in cashiering or junior accounting roles.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
- Proficient in MS Excel and accounting software.
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Trustworthy, dependable, and able to handle confidential information.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED1,800.00 - AED2,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
