Job description
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Civil Draughtsman (Structural & Architectural with Min 6+ Years of UAE based construction companies to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating accurate and high-quality technical drawings and plans based on engineers' and architects' designs. The candidate must have experience in High Rise building, Residential and Villa projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed structural and architectural drawings using AutoCAD,
- Develop layouts, sections, elevations, and detail drawings for a wide variety of construction projects.
- Interpret architectural and structural design concepts into technical drawings.
- Revise and update drawings based on feedback from engineers, architects, and project managers.
- Ensure all drawings are in compliance with applicable building codes, standards, and regulations.
- Coordinate with structural engineers, architects, and other team members to ensure design accuracy.
- Maintain drawing files, records, and documentation according to company standards.
- Assist in preparing drawing packages for construction and tender submissions.
- Participate in design meetings and site visits as required.
Requirements:
- Degree or Diploma in Architectural, Civil, or Structural Drafting or a related field.
- Proven experience (typically 6+ years) as a Structural or Architectural Draughtsman in UAE.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other drafting software.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and detailing.
- Ability to interpret and translate technical information and specifications into drawings.
- Excellent attention to detail and a strong sense of accuracy.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
