Job Title: Collection Representative
Department: Finance / Accounts
Reports To: Accounts Manager / Finance Controller
Job Purpose:
The Collection Representative is responsible for contacting customers regarding overdue accounts, ensuring timely collection of outstanding payments, maintaining accurate records of collection activities, and supporting the finance team to reduce aging receivables and improve cash flow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contact customers via phone, email, and official letters to follow up on outstanding invoices.
- Maintain a systematic follow-up schedule and update the collection status regularly.
- Negotiate payment plans and terms with customers when required, within company guidelines.
- Record and update customer payment statuses in the accounting system.
- Coordinate with the sales, accounts, and dispatch teams to resolve invoice or delivery disputes.
- Prepare aging reports and share regular updates with the finance department and management.
- Monitor customer credit limits and recommend credit hold when necessary.
- Ensure all communications are professional, courteous, and in line with company policies.
- Escalate delinquent accounts to legal or management as per defined procedures.
- Support in preparing collection reports, summaries, and forecasts for management review.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in accounts receivable or credit collection, preferably in a similar industry.
- Knowledge of accounting and invoicing software (e.g., Tally or ERP systems).
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
Expected hours: 9 per week
