About the Role:
We are looking for a passionate and skilled Commis Chef for our Hot Kitchen, ideally with a background in Asian cuisine. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in preparing hot dishes, working under pressure, and maintaining kitchen standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing and cooking Asian hot dishes
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Support senior chefs in food preparation and stock organization
- Ensure proper storage and handling of ingredients
- Execute cooking techniques as per recipe standards
Requirements:
- 2 to 5 years of experience as a Commis in a hot kitchen, preferably in an Asian cuisine restaurant
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Strong knowledge of food safety and kitchen hygiene practices
- Team player with good communication skills
- Immediate joiners (within 2 weeks) preferred
