Key Responsibilities:
- Perform complex surgical procedures on the heart and blood vessels, including bypass surgeries, valve replacements, and endovascular repairs.
- Conduct thorough preoperative assessments and develop individualized surgical plans tailored to each patient's needs.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of cardiologists, anesthesiologists, and nursing staff to ensure comprehensive perioperative management.
- Provide postoperative care and monitor patients closely to ensure optimal recovery and outcomes.
- Stay current with advancements in cardiovascular surgery and integrate new techniques and technologies into practice.
- Educate patients and their families regarding surgical procedures, risks, and recovery processes.
- Medical degree with specialization in Cardiovascular Surgery.
- Completion of a Cardiovascular Surgery fellowship.
- Board certification in Cardiovascular Surgery.
- Current and valid state medical license.
- Extensive experience performing a variety of cardiac surgical procedures.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex medical concepts to patients and families.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
