As a Consultant Dermatologist you will be responsible for providing specialized dermatological services to patients. You will develop and implement treatment plans, make clinical judgments, and manage a wide range of skin conditions. Key responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough consultations and physical examinations of patients with skin conditions
- Perform diagnostic tests and procedures, such as skin biopsies, patch testing, and allergy testing
- Prescribe and administer topical and oral medications, as well as advanced treatments, such as chemical peels, dermal fillers, and laser therapy
- Collaborate with other specialists and healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans
- Provide patient education and counseling on skin care and the prevention of skin diseases
- Participate in clinical research and stay updated with the latest advancements in dermatology
- Maintain accurate medical records and comply with medical standards and guidelines
- Lead and supervise a team of junior doctors, nurses, and technicians
Qualifications and requirements:
- Minimum of five years of experience as a consultant dermatologist in a reputable hospital
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
