Position Overview
SearchPlus HR is on the lookout for a dedicated Consultant/Specialist in Stroke Medicine to enhance our healthcare team. This role is pivotal in delivering exceptional care to patients who have experienced stroke and other cerebrovascular conditions. As a Consultant/Specialist, you will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing a diverse range of cases while collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and manage patients presenting with stroke-related symptoms
- Perform detailed clinical assessments and interpret diagnostic tests
- Develop and manage tailored treatment plans for patients
- Prescribe medications and oversee rehabilitation processes
- Educate patients and families on stroke prevention and post-stroke care
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including neurologists and physiotherapists
- Participate in clinical research and academic activities related to stroke medicine
- Contribute to the training of healthcare staff and promote stroke education initiatives
Requirements
- Medical degree from an accredited institution
- Board certification or specialization in Stroke Medicine
- Significant clinical experience in stroke diagnosis and management
- Strong analytical and diagnostic skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to continuous learning and improvement in clinical practice
- Research experience and publication in stroke-related topics is a plus
