To diagnose, repair, and maintain the electrical and electronic systems of mobile crushers, generators, heavy vehicles, and site equipment, ensuring smooth field operations and minimal equipment downtime.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair electrical faults in mobile crushers, screens, loaders, excavators, and site vehicles
- Maintain and troubleshoot electrical wiring, sensors, alternators, batteries, starter motors, relays, and lighting systems
- Perform preventive maintenance checks and safety inspections for mobile crushing units
- Repair and calibrate electrical components in hydraulic control systems, ignition systems, and engine management systems
- Install and repair control switches, alarms, and lighting for mobile equipment
- Ensure all systems (headlights, signal lights, horns, engine monitors, etc.) function correctly and safely
- Assist in commissioning of new machines or equipment brought to the site
- Maintain logbooks and repair records for each piece of equipment
- Follow all safety procedures during work, including proper lockout/tagout
- Work with mechanical and electrical teams for combined troubleshooting as needed
