A well-established fine dining restaurant in Dubai is currently seeking a skilled Demi Chef de Partie to oversee the hot section. This position is ideal for a chef with a deep understanding of Mediterranean cuisine and a passion for consistently delivering high-quality dishes in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.
Role Summary
As Demi Chef de Partie – Hot Section, you will be responsible for executing dishes with precision, maintaining quality and consistency in line with the restaurant’s culinary standards. You will support the Chef de Partie in managing daily operations, contributing to team development, and ensuring all hygiene and safety standards are strictly followed.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook all items according to standardized recipes and presentation guidelines
- Assist in daily mise en place, stock rotation, and inventory control for the section
- Ensure the station is always clean, organized, and compliant with food safety regulations
- Work collaboratively with the culinary team to ensure smooth kitchen operations during service
- Support junior staff through guidance and on-the-job training
- Contribute ideas for menu development and continuous improvement
Candidate Profile
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role within a fine dining or luxury hospitality environment
- Good understanding of HACCP and general kitchen safety procedures
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to perform under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- A proactive, team-oriented mindset with a commitment to excellence
