About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Demi Chef de Partie – Pastry Section to join our talented culinary team at a prestigious, high-end beachfront dining destination in Dubai. This is an exceptional opportunity for a pastry professional who has a strong foundation in classic French pastry techniques, bakery skills, and basic chocolate work, and who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced, and quality-driven kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, bake, and present pastries, desserts, and baked goods to the highest standards.
- Execute recipes and plating with precision, ensuring consistency in taste, texture, and presentation.
- Assist in the creation and testing of new pastry items for menus and specials.
- Maintain high levels of hygiene and cleanliness in compliance with HACCP standards.
- Work collaboratively with the Pastry Chef and wider kitchen brigade to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Monitor stock levels and assist in ordering and inventory control for pastry ingredients.
- Uphold the restaurant’s commitment to exceptional quality and guest satisfaction.
Requirements
- Currently based in the UAE with immediate availability.
- Proficient in English, with strong communication skills.
- Solid basic knowledge of pastries and bakery, plus some experience working with chocolate.
- Familiarity with classic French pastry techniques.
- Well-presented, well-spoken, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
- Previous experience in a high-end restaurant, luxury hotel, or fine dining environment is preferred.
