Job description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Nurse / Nurse with Dental Experience to join our dynamic Clinic in the UAE. The ideal candidate will assist in providing high-quality dental care to our patients and support the dental team in delivering efficient and effective services.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Patient Care:
- Prepare patients for dental procedures by explaining treatments and ensuring their comfort.
- Assist the dentist during examinations and various dental procedures.
2. Clinical Duties:
- Set up and sterilize instruments and dental equipment.
- Take dental radiographs (X-rays) as required.
- Record patient medical histories and treatment plans accurately.
3. Administrative Support:
- Schedule appointments and manage patient records.
- Support in handling billing, insurance claims, and payments.
- Maintain inventory of dental supplies and order as needed.
4. Infection Control:
- Follow infection control protocols and maintain cleanliness in the dental practice.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
5. Patient Education:
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
- Answer patient inquiries and provide support as needed.
6. Team Collaboration:
- Work collaboratively with the dental team to ensure smooth patient flow and efficient practice operations.
- Participate in continuous education and training to enhance professional skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Certificate in Dental Nursing or equivalent.
- Valid dental nursing / Nurse “with dental experience” license or registration in the UAE (Eligibility letter or DHA License is required)
- Previous experience as a dental nurse preferred.
- Knowledge of dental procedures, terminology, and materials.
- Proficient in using dental software and equipment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
