Job Summary:
Al Fan Al Shaabi Aluminium & Glass Contracting is seeking a dependable and hard-working Driver cum Helper to support daily operations. The role involves safe transportation of aluminium profiles, glass, tools, and materials to various project sites, as well as assisting in loading/unloading and basic on-site support.
Key Responsibilities: Driving Duties:
- Operate company vehicle (pickup or 3-ton truck) for transporting materials between the workshop, sites, and suppliers.
- Plan efficient routes to ensure timely delivery and minimize delays.
- Perform routine checks and report maintenance needs for the assigned vehicle.
- Maintain accurate logs of deliveries and vehicle movements.
- Handle pickup and drop-off of employees as assigned.
Helper Duties:
- Assist in loading and unloading of aluminium profiles, glass panels, fittings, and machinery.
- Support the site team in shifting and handling materials.
- Provide basic assistance in site tasks under supervisor or foreman instructions.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and proper organization of transported items.
Requirements:
- Valid UAE driving license (Manual – Light Vehicle).
- 1–2 years of UAE experience as a driver.
- Familiarity with UAE road routes and project locations.
- Physically fit and capable of handling heavy materials (glass and aluminium).
- Basic understanding of safety protocols and material handling procedures.
- Responsible, punctual, and professional attitude.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in aluminium and glass contracting or construction industry.
- Basic spoken English or Arabic for understanding work instructions.
