Ductman (HVAC Installer)
Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and skilled Ductman to install, repair, and maintain ducting systems for heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) in residential, commercial, or industrial buildings. The ideal candidate should be able to read drawings, work with sheet metal, and ensure duct systems are installed accurately and safely.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and assemble sheet metal ducts for HVAC systems according to design specifications
- Read and interpret HVAC drawings, blueprints, and technical plans
- Measure, cut, and shape ducts using hand and power tools
- Install insulation, supports, hangers, dampers, and grills as required
- Inspect and test duct systems for leaks and proper airflow
- Repair or replace damaged ductwork and related components
- Coordinate with HVAC technicians, electricians, and site supervisors
- Maintain a clean and safe work area, following all safety standards and procedures
- Follow project schedules and complete installations on time
- Ensure compliance with local building codes and HVAC standards
