Job Title: Embedded Software Engineer (WinCE & Android)
Location: Sharjah
Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain software for WinCE and Android platforms.
a. Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain software for WinCE and Android platforms.
- Implement and optimize embedded applications for taxi meter devices and vehicle-based
systems.
- Work with WinCE SDKs and Android development tools for system enhancements.
- Develop and integrate communication protocols such as CAN Bus, RS232, and RS485.
- Use debugging tools and techniques to analyze and resolve software and hardware issues.
b. Technical Qualifications:
- C/C++ and Java – Strong programming skills for embedded applications.
- WinCE SDKs & Android Development – Experience in developing applications for embedded
platforms.
- Communication Protocols – Knowledge of CAN Bus, RS232, and RS485.
- Debugging & Troubleshooting – Proficiency in debugging tools and techniques for embedded
systems.
- Embedded Systems Architecture – Understanding of hardware-software integration and realtime processing.
- Version Control – Familiarity with Git (GitHub/GitLab).
- Software Deployment – Experience with firmware updates and OTA (Over-the-Air)
deployment.
c. Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Embedded Systems, Electrical Engineering, or a
related field.
- 5+ years of experience in embedded software development for WinCE and Android platforms.
- Experience in taxi meter devices, vehicle-based embedded systems, or fleet management
solutions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience with real-time embedded systems, IoT devices, or automotive applications is
a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED18,000.00 - AED20,000.00 per month
