About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Estimator specializing in aluminum and façade systems to join our expanding team. The role will initially be based in Dubai, with an anticipated relocation to Qatar. You will play a key role in providing accurate project cost estimations and preparing competitive tender submissions for commercial and residential façade projects in Qatar’s growing construction market.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze architectural and structural drawings to produce precise quantity take-offs and cost estimates for façade projects.
- Collaborate closely with design, engineering, procurement, and project management teams to develop comprehensive and competitive proposals.
- Obtain, review, and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations to ensure cost competitiveness and quality.
- Prepare detailed technical and commercial bid documents for tender submissions, ensuring compliance with project requirements.
- Support value engineering initiatives to optimize project costs while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Review tender and contract documents to identify scope, risks, and exclusions specific to Qatar market conditions.
- Stay updated on local material prices, market trends, and innovations in aluminum and façade systems within Qatar.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of GCC experience specifically in aluminum and façade estimation.
- Strong knowledge of curtain walls, cladding, windows, doors, and other façade components and systems.
- Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficient in written and verbal communication, with the ability to liaise with local stakeholders in Qatar.
- Experience with mid to large-scale commercial or mixed-use projects is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with Qatar’s construction market regulations and business practices is a plus.
