We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator to join our dynamic team in the joinery and fit-out sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimations, material take-offs, and pricing for high-end interior and custom woodwork projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Study and analyze architectural drawings, specifications, and BOQs.
- Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and cost estimations for joinery and fit-out works (e.g., doors, wardrobes, reception counters, wall cladding, acoustic panels).
- Request and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
- Develop cost comparisons and identify value-engineering solutions.
- Prepare and submit competitive bid proposals and tender documentation.
- Maintain updated cost databases for materials, labor, and subcontracting rates.
- Coordinate with the design, procurement, and project execution teams to validate estimates.
- Monitor market trends to anticipate material cost changes and availability.
- Participate in tender clarification meetings and provide technical/commercial support.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in joinery and fit-out estimation (UAE experience is a plus).
- Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Interior Design, or related field.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Excel, and quantity take-off tools like PlanSwift or similar software.
