The Role:
We’re looking for a confident, organised, and beauty-savvy Salon Assistant / Receptionist to be the face of Glow Shack. You’ll play a key role in creating a seamless client journey, supporting our stylists, and ensuring everything runs like clockwork.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome clients with warmth and professionalism, ensuring an exceptional first impression
- Manage appointment bookings and confirmations across phone, WhatsApp, and online systems
- Handle payments, retail sales, and daily cash reconciliation
- Keep the front desk, waiting area, and retail shelves pristine and well-stocked
- Support stylists and therapists with setup, clean-down, and client needs
- Stay informed on services, promotions, and product knowledge to answer client questions
- Handle client feedback gracefully and professionally
- Assist with social content (optional but a bonus!)
You’ll Need:
- 1+ year experience in a salon, spa, or high-end hospitality setting
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills
- Fluent English and confident communication skills
- Friendly, polished, and professional demeanor
- Comfortable with salon software, POS, and WhatsApp-based communication
- A genuine love for beauty and wellness
