We’re Hiring – Façade Designer (Dubai)
About the role
Produce clear shop/fabrication drawings for curtain wall, unitized and stick systems, cladding and structural glazing. Coordinate with PMs, consultants, and fabricators; resolve RFIs and clashes; support site teams.
Responsibilities
- Prepare shop/fabrication drawings, BOQs and cutting lists.
- Develop interface/bracket/anchor details with correct tolerances.
- Review IFC drawings/specs and raise RFIs.
- Collaborate across design, procurement and site to de-risk installation.
- Maintain revision control and QA checks.
Requirements
- Experience in façade/aluminium & glazing (curtain wall, unitized, stick).
- Strong AutoCAD; plus one of Revit/Tekla/Rhino.
- Familiarity with systems (e.g., Schüco, Reynaers, Technal).
- Solid understanding of movement joints, drainage/vent, thermal breaks.
- GCC/UAE experience is a plus; portfolio of shop drawings required.
