Position Summary:
The Food & Beverage Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative and operational support to the Food & Beverage department. This role ensures smooth coordination between outlets, kitchen, banqueting, and other departments, while maintaining high service standards and efficient operations. The position requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administrative Support
- Prepare and distribute daily F&B reports, function sheets, and schedules.
- Maintain accurate records for reservations, events, and group bookings.
- Assist in compiling menus, signage, and promotional materials.
- Coordination & Communication
- Act as a liaison between the F&B team, kitchen, sales, and banquet departments.
- Communicate event details, special requests, and menu changes to relevant staff.
- Follow up with suppliers, vendors, and service providers as needed.
- Operational Assistance
- Support in organizing and coordinating events, meetings, and banquets.
- Ensure all F&B outlets are informed of daily operational requirements.
- Assist with inventory control, ordering, and stock monitoring.
- Guest Service
- Respond to guest inquiries regarding menus, reservations, and special arrangements.
- Handle VIP or special guest requests with professionalism and efficiency.
- Ensure guest satisfaction by addressing concerns promptly.
- Compliance & Standards
- Maintain department files in accordance with hotel policies.
- Ensure F&B operations comply with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
- Follow hotel brand standards in all communications and presentations.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Previous experience in Food & Beverage or hospitality administration preferred.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and hotel management systems (e.g., Opera, Micros).
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
- Capacity to stand or walk for extended periods during events, if required.

- Dubai: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (Preferred)
Experience:
- Food & Beverage Coordinator / Supervisor: 2 years (Preferred)
