Job Overview:
Field Engineering Tech is an entry-level position, and their work is completed with close supervision and support. They work within clearly defined standard operating procedures and/or scientific methods and adhere to quality guidelines.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate satisfactory knowledge/understanding of the basics of electrical engineering concepts
- Gain understanding of the safety aspects associated with working in electrical system
- Gain knowledge and prepare drawings and documents as assigned for the project
- Develop awareness on requirements of offshore electrical design
- Demonstrate awareness and basic working knowledge of Electrical drafting tools
- Demonstrate effective application of department imparted training/skills in assigned Project responsibilities/design deliverables
- Demonstrate completion of assigned responsibilities within allotted time frame, with high degree of accuracy/quality
- Demonstrate positive attitude and teamwork in everyday activities
- Good verbal and written communication skills
Essential Qualifications and Education:
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering
- Zero-three (0-3) years of experience in Electrical design. Preferred experience in the Oil and Gas industry site during construction and commissioning.
- Basic knowledge of the content and application of standards, codes, and guidelines.
- Experience in Drafting tools like Auto CAD etc and MS Office Suite including Excel and Word
