We are seeking a skilled and experienced Accountant / Financial Analyst to manage financial processes for our dynamic business, which includes both delivery services and transport operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bookkeeping, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), payroll, and excel in using accounting software and spreadsheets for financial management and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, ensuring all transactions are recorded correctly, including expenses, revenues, and journal entries.
- Process vendor invoices, reconcile statements, manage payment schedules, and resolve discrepancies with vendors and suppliers.
- Generate invoices, follow up on overdue payments, and maintain records of all customer accounts and transactions.
- Administer payroll processes including calculating wages, handling deductions, and ensuring compliance with relevant tax laws and employment regulations.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
- Regularly reconcile bank statements to ensure accurate tracking of all financial transactions.
- Assist with tax filings and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Analyze costs related to transport and delivery operations, ensuring proper allocation and control of expenses.
- Utilize Excel and other software tools to analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights for the business.
- Ensure financial records adhere to legal requirements, regulations, and internal policies, and assist in preparing for audits.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- At least 3 to 5 years of accounting experience, with a strong focus on bookkeeping, AP, AR, and payroll management.
- Previous experience working in a transport or delivery-related business is highly preferred.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to work with formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and data analysis tools.
- Proficiency in using accounting software such as Zoho, Xero, or similar systems.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial management and reporting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to liaise with stakeholders, clients, and vendors.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.

- Experience with Last-mile delivery business and transport operations
- Proven experience with Payroll process.
