The Role
Competitive Salary and benefits *Candidates must be able to travel internationally to Europe & USA with no visa issues.* Our client is a boutique, strategic advisory firm, with a presence in UAE, UK, USA, and offshore USA territories. They work with select clients, across a wide spectrum; UHNW family offices and sovereign wealth funds, additionally with non-profit advocacy and research institutions as well global investment groups. The role of Finance Associate will support the growing team, providing high quality financial and operational assistance across the UAE, USA and associated US territories. Responsibilities encompass bookkeeping, monthly expense reports, inter company transfers and managing the relationship with the external accounting firm. Ideally the candidate will also have experience and be able to provide support around compliance and international licensing, interacting with the international accounting team. The successful candidate will be a team player, who will also get involved with office management and general administrative tasks, high energy and with superb attention to detail. A Bachelor’s Degree is required, and it is essential that candidates possess extensive experience in Quickbooks. Additionally, candidates will be expected to have considerable experience in creating high quality expense reports. Excellent English is a must but our client would also find Arabic language skills an advantage. This role can be based out of either Dubai or Abu Dhabi and will require travel to the UK and USA. Hence is imperative that candidates have the appropriate passport / visa that can facilitate this. You will support the Senior Management and work directly with the C-Suite. Due to consultants, being based in several different countries, flexibility is essential in this role as there are considerable multi -time zone meetings that they require support with as well as extensive travel management. The role interfaces with high-profile clients and confidentiality and discretion is essential. Full administrative support across a wide scope is required, documentation, internal and external communication, organisation of events, namely investor roadshows and fundraising events and superb calendar management. Candidates must be superb communicators, with English spoken and written to native standard. The ability to multi-task and work under pressure is essential for the position and the we are seeking someone who can fit in seamlessly with this outgoing and high energy team. A Bachelor’s degree is required and a minimum of at least four years’ experience in an EA role supporting senior management figures. This is not a traditional 9-5 role and is unique by design. It is episodic in nature, with non-standardised working hours. We are seeking individuals who have a proactive approach who can work as well from home alone or within an office environment, surrounded by people. This position can be based in Dubai or Abu Dhabi, as there will be travel on a regular basis between both Emirates, hence a car and driving licence are a must. Additionally, we are seeking candidates who have the flexibility to travel internationally, as and when required.
