Overview:
We’re looking for an experienced and strategic Finance Manager to lead our financial operations and planning. This role is crucial to driving financial health and supporting growth across our FMCG and retail hypermarket business. Candidates must have solid experience within the GCC, particularly the UAE, and a deep understanding of the financial landscape in the FMCG sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Oversight: Manage all financial activities including budgeting, forecasting, analysis, and reporting to ensure sound financial health and business alignment.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement financial strategies that drive profitability, operational efficiency, and sustainable growth.
- Performance Monitoring: Analyze financial data, track KPIs, and provide actionable insights to guide decision-making.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure full compliance with UAE tax laws, GCC financial regulations, and international accounting standards.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with key departments to align financial goals with business strategies.
- Cash & Risk Management: Oversee cash flow, optimize working capital, and manage financial risks proactively.
- Team Leadership: Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing finance team focused on accuracy, integrity, and continuous improvement.
- Reporting & Analysis: Deliver timely, in-depth financial reports and market-driven analysis to senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Market Insights: Conduct market trend analysis and financial modeling to support strategic initiatives and expansion plans.
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
- At least 5 years of financial leadership experience in the FMCG and hypermarket retail sector.
- Proven track record working within the UAE and broader GCC markets.
- In-depth knowledge of UAE financial regulations, tax law, and compliance standards.
- Proficiency in financial software tools and Microsoft Excel; ERP experience is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities across functions and departments.
- Demonstrated leadership in managing finance teams and driving process improvements.
