We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Floor Manager / Supervisor to lead front-of-house operations in our busy restaurant. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the hospitality or food & beverage sector, with hands-on experience managing restaurant staff, ensuring top-notch service, and maintaining high operational standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily front-of-house operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service during all shifts
- Supervise and guide service staff, including waiters, hosts, and runners
- Maintain excellent customer service standards and handle guest feedback and complaints effectively
- Monitor staff appearance, performance, and adherence to hygiene and service protocols
- Coordinate with kitchen and bar teams to ensure timely service and communication
- Manage reservations, guest seating, and table turnover to maximize efficiency and guest satisfaction
- Train new staff members and assist in ongoing team development
- Conduct daily pre-shift briefings and post-shift reviews
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards
- Support the Restaurant Manager with scheduling, reporting, and inventory-related tasks when needed
Key Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry
- At least 1 year of experience as a Floor Manager or Supervisor in a full-service restaurant
- Strong leadership, team management, and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask in a high-pressure environment
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Working knowledge of restaurant POS systems and basic computer skills
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
