Key Responsibilities:
Design and create floral arrangements (bouquets, centerpieces, event installations, etc.) according to customer requests and shop standards.
Provide expert advice to customers on flower selection, care, and arrangement ideas.
Prepare flowers by trimming, cutting, and arranging them to maintain freshness and quality.
Manage inventory of flowers, plants, and supplies; ensure proper storage and handling.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop/workspace.
Process sales transactions and handle customer inquiries in a professional manner.
Deliver floral arrangements to clients or venues when required.
Assist in decorating venues for weddings, events, and special occasions.
Stay updated with floral design trends and seasonal flower availability.
Qualifications and Skills:
2 years proven experience as a Florist or floral designer (preferred)
Knowledge of different flowers, plants, and floral arrangement techniques.
Strong sense of creativity and design.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines (especially during peak seasons).
Good organizational and time-management skills.
Basic knowledge of inventory and sales management.
Physical ability to lift and carry floral supplies and stand for extended periods.
Working Conditions:
Work hours may include weekends, holidays, and extended shifts during peak seasons (Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, Christmas, weddings).
Work environment includes exposure to water, soil, and perishable products.
