The Cleaner / Helper is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment throughout the Afrina salon or center. The role includes general cleaning duties, supporting the team in daily operations, and assisting in ensuring hygienic standards are maintained according to municipality regulations and company's quality protocols.
Cleaning Duties:
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and sanitize floors and carpets in all service areas.
- Clean mirrors, glass, and windows in client areas and workstations.
- Dust and wipe down furniture, equipment, shelves, and reception areas.
- Clean and disinfect washrooms, including toilets, sinks, and floors regularly.
- Maintain the cleanliness and order of the pantry/kitchen area.
- Clean and sanitize tools, trolleys, and equipment when needed (non-technical).
- Empty garbage bins regularly and ensure waste is disposed of properly.
Support Duties:
- Refill cleaning supplies, hand soap, tissues, and other consumables.
- Assist in preparing treatment rooms before and after services.
- Provide refreshments to clients when assigned (coffee, tea, water).
- Help in unpacking and organizing stock deliveries (as directed).
- Notify the supervisor immediately about any maintenance or safety concerns (leaks, damages, pests, etc.).
- Maintain proper storage of cleaning materials and tools.
Standards and Compliance:
- Follow cleaning schedules and checklists assigned daily.
- Adhere to hygiene and sanitation protocols approved by Dubai Municipality.
- Ensure cleaning products are used safely and stored properly.
- Support the team in keeping the salon presentable at all times, especially during peak hours.
