Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to lead and oversee the day-to-day operations of our fit-out and renovation contracting company. This role requires a strategic leader with strong business development capabilities, client relationship management skills, and deep knowledge of project execution, cost estimation, and site supervision.
Key Responsibilities:1. Business Development & Client Management
- Identify new business opportunities and actively promote the company’s services.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and contractors.
- Prepare and deliver compelling proposals and presentations to secure new projects.
- Ensure client satisfaction through all project phases and after completion.
2. Operational Management
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the company, including site execution, procurement, HR, and logistics.
- Implement and optimize standard operating procedures (SOPs) to enhance efficiency and quality control.
- Coordinate between project teams, design teams, and suppliers to ensure smooth workflow.
3. Project & Site Management
- Lead planning and execution of fit-out and renovation projects from concept to completion.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in line with quality and safety standards.
- Conduct regular site visits, progress checks, and team supervision.
4. Cost Estimation & Budgeting
- Prepare and review cost estimates, BOQs, and pricing for tenders and ongoing projects.
- Monitor project budgets and control expenditures to ensure profitability.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
5. Team Leadership
- Recruit, train, and manage carpenters' plumbers, electrician, supervisors, and operational staff.
- Foster a results-driven and collaborative work environment.
- Provide leadership and direction to ensure high team performance.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design
- Minimum of 7–10 years of experience in operations or general management in a fit-out or renovation company.
- Proven track record in business development and client servicing.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, pricing, and project delivery.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Proficient in MS Office, project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera), and AutoCAD.
- G+1 Dubai Municipality license atleast.
