Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mix Grill Maker to prepare a variety of grilled dishes including meats, seafood, and vegetables. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with grilling techniques, seasoning, marination, and maintaining food quality and hygiene standards. You will play a key role in ensuring timely and delicious food is served to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, marinate, and grill assorted meats (chicken, lamb, beef, etc.), seafood, and vegetables.
- Monitor grill temperatures and cooking times to ensure food is cooked safely and to the desired level.
- Follow recipes and portioning guidelines to ensure consistent quality and taste.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the grilling station and ensure safe food handling at all times.
- Keep track of inventory levels for grill items and notify management of shortages.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff and servers to ensure timely food preparation and service.
- Ensure all grills, tools, and equipment are cleaned and maintained daily.
- Suggest improvements or new menu items based on customer preferences and trends.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a grill chef, BBQ cook, or in a similar role.
- Knowledge of marination techniques, meat handling, and grilling methods.
- Ability to manage multiple orders and work under pressure during peak hours.
- Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Ability to work in a hot kitchen environment.
- Team player with strong communication and time management skills.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
