Job Summary:
The Hair Transplant Doctor is responsible for performing surgical and non-surgical hair restoration procedures, including Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE) and Follicular Unit Transplantation (FUT). The role requires strong expertise in diagnosing hair loss conditions, planning personalized treatment plans, and ensuring safe, effective, and natural-looking results for patients while maintaining the highest standards of medical ethics and patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough consultations and scalp examinations to diagnose hair loss and determine suitable treatment options.
- Perform surgical hair transplant procedures (FUE, FUT, DHI, etc.) with precision and care.
- Oversee graft extraction, preparation, and implantation, ensuring natural density and hairline design.
- Administer non-surgical hair restoration treatments such as PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma), mesotherapy, or medical therapies when required.
- Provide pre- and post-operative care, instructions, and follow-up for patients.
- Ensure all procedures comply with medical, safety, and ethical standards.
- Maintain accurate patient records, consent forms, and treatment documentation.
- Supervise and train supporting staff (nurses, technicians) involved in hair restoration procedures.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements, technologies, and trends in hair transplantation.
Requirements:
- Medical Degree (MBBS/MD) with specialization in Dermatology, Plastic Surgery, or related field.
- Valid medical license (DHA/MOH/HAAD or equivalent, depending on location).
- Certified training and proven experience in hair transplant procedures (FUE/FUT).
- Strong knowledge of hair loss conditions and treatment modalities.
- Excellent surgical, aesthetic judgment, and fine motor skills.
- Patient-centered, empathetic, and detail-oriented approach.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
