Required Expertise
- Deep knowledge of healthcare cost accounting systems (both clinical and patient-level)
- Experience with TDABC (Time-Driven Activity-Based Costing), cost tracing, and absorption techniques
- Familiarity with healthcare financial reconciliation processes and audit preparation
- Ability to analyze and interpret patient cost data for operational improvement
- Experience in designing cost centers, structuring financial units, and clinical pathway mapping
- Understanding of benchmarking frameworks and performance variation across patient segments
- Strong grasp of data challenges in clinical environments and practical mitigation techniques
Background
- Minimum 10 years of experience in healthcare finance or clinical costing roles
- Hands-on work in hospital finance departments, healthcare consultancy
- Proven knowledge of costing practices in the Gulf or KSA context preferred
- Training experience is a plus
