- Operate heavy trucks and trailers to transport goods between locations.
- Ensure the safe loading and unloading of cargo.
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance.
- Adhere to traffic laws and company safety standards.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, mileage records, and fuel consumption reports.
- Communicate with dispatchers and report any delays or issues.
- Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of vehicle.
- Ensure all delivery documents are complete and accurate.
