Job Summary:
A Housekeeping Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in hotels, resorts, or other hospitality establishments. This role involves various housekeeping duties to ensure that guest rooms and public areas are kept in excellent condition.
Key Responsibilities:
1. **Cleaning and Maintenance:** Clean and maintain guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas as per established standards and procedures. This includes dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and replenishing supplies.
2. **Bed Making:** Change bed linens, make beds, and ensure the room's overall presentation is welcoming and tidy.
3. **Trash Removal:** Empty trash bins in guest rooms and common areas, ensuring proper disposal and replacement of liners.
4. **Restocking:** Replenish towels, toiletries, and other amenities as needed in guest rooms and public spaces.
5. **Maintenance Assistance:** Assist with minor maintenance tasks, such as replacing light bulbs, reporting maintenance issues, and ensuring the proper functioning of equipment.
6. **Lost and Found:** Report and turn in any lost or found items to the housekeeping supervisor or the front desk.
7. **Laundry:** Assist with the collection, sorting, and distribution of linens and towels, as well as laundering and folding when required.
8. **Guest Requests:** Attend to guest requests promptly and courteously, including delivering extra items like pillows, blankets, or towels.
9. **Safety and Cleanliness:** Adhere to safety protocols and use appropriate cleaning products and equipment to maintain a hygienic and safe environment.
10. **Inventory Control:** Maintain an accurate inventory of cleaning supplies and report the need for replenishment in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous housekeeping or related experience is preferred but not always required.
- Good physical fitness and stamina for performing physically demanding tasks.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and order.
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude when interacting with guests and colleagues.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and proper use of cleaning equipment and chemicals.

Pay: AED900.00 - AED1,000.00 per month
