- Meet with clients to discuss their design needs and preferences.
- Develop design concepts and plans, including sketches and 3D renderings.
- Select furniture, fixtures, and finishes.
- Create construction documents, such as floor plans, electrical plans, and plumbing plans.
- Oversee the construction process, working with contractors, subcontractors, and inspectors.
- Manage the project budget.
- Present the final design to the client.
- Conduct research on current design trends and styles.
- Stay up-to-date on building codes and regulations.
- Develop marketing materials and proposals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in interior design or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in interior design.
- Strong creative and technical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in interior design software, such as AutoCAD, 3D & SketchUp.
- Knowledge of building codes and regulations.
