Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and monitor IT projects and activities across departments.
- Provide first-level technical support to employees for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Maintain and update IT documentation, including system configurations, user manuals, and inventory.
- Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer systems and networks.
- Liaise with vendors and service providers for procurement and support services.
- Ensure data security, backup, and disaster recovery procedures are followed.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.
- Train staff on new technologies and IT policies.
- Support the implementation of new software and hardware solutions.
- Ensure compliance with IT policies, procedures, and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in an IT support or coordination role.
- Strong understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and other tech products.
- Familiarity with network administration and help desk support.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with ITIL or other IT service management frameworks.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and practices.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., Microsoft 365, Google Workspace).
