We are seeking for a proactive IT Support Specialist to provide technical assistance and support to end-users, ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems and services.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Support:
1. Act as the first point of contact for end-users seeking technical assistance via phone, email, or in-person.
2. Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues promptly.
3. Escalate complex issues to higher-level support or third-party vendors when necessary.
System Installation and Configuration:
1. Install, configure, and maintain computers, printers, and other peripherals.
2. Set up and configure software applications, ensuring system compatibility.
3. Perform hardware and software upgrades and repairs.
User Account Management:
1. Set up, maintain, and deactivate user accounts in various systems.
2. Manage user permissions and access rights.
System Maintenance and Updates:
1. Conduct routine maintenance and updates on systems to ensure optimal performance.
2. Ensure regular data backups and maintain disaster recovery procedures.
IT Infrastructure Monitoring:
1. Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and security systems.
Qualifications
Proficient in Technical Support, IT systems, and troubleshooting.
Hands-on experience in System Administration and Help Desk operations.
Strong analytical and communication abilities for resolving technical issues effectively.
Solid understanding of networking concepts and IT security protocols.
Skilled in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of both hardware and software.
Capable of working autonomously and collaboratively within a team environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related discipline.
Professional certifications such as CompTIA A+, MCITP, or CCNA are advantageous.
